Ø All new & returning members of the free and reduced lunch application remember to fill out a new application at the beginning of the year.

Just a Reminder:

Ø If you are visiting the school please remember to grab a visitors badge and sign our guest book!

Ø If your child arrive to school after 8:15am that is considered a tardy.

Ø School starts at 8:05am and school dismisses at 3:25pm.

Ø Drop off time for school is to be no earlier than 7:30am!

Ø If your child arrives to school after 9:30am that will be considered a half day absent.

Ø If your child leaves school before 2:30pm that will be considered a half day absent.

Ø Please remember to call if your child is sick or absent so we can mark them on our daily attendance. If the school has not received a call by 9:30am the school secretary will give a friendly call to check on him/ her. The school has to submit a report to the Loup Valley Health Basin on students illness so your cooperation would be greatly appreciatedJ

Ø If your child is sick or absent and you would like to request their homework, please call with enough notice so our teachers have time to gather all homework assignments together.

Ø Please have an after school plan put together and make sure your student is aware of it. If you have a schedule that changes frequently please remind your student daily of what He/ She needs to do after school.

Ø P.E is on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ Custer & is on every other Friday. (might be a good idea just to wear tennis shoes on Fridays)

Ø If your child would like to bring treats for His / Her birthday please call ahead and make arrangements with His / Her teacher.

Ø Custer Elementary is recycling old ink cartridges’ and cell phones through the funding factory company. For every box we send in we earn points and money for our school. If you would like to help us recycle just drop your old inkjets & cell phones by Custer ElementaryJ

Ø Broken Bow Public Schools offers after school Super Kids Club Program. It is open for K-5^th grade students. You must pre register. If you are interested contact Central Plains Center for Services @ 872-6176. Kids Club is open for any early out school days or unscheduled early out school days.

Ø Please check your students lunch account. Negative balances must be paid in full. If you have questions please contact lunch time solutions, or your local secretary.

Ø You are welcome to eat with your child. Please call the school by 9:00 in the morning and put in your menu choice if you will be eating. The price of a meal is $3.00 for adults and $2.10 for a child. As we do not keep a lot of change at the school we would appreciate it if you would not bring large bills. Thank you!
