Middle School quiz bowl ended the year with
the 7th and 8th grade team winning the Custer County Quiz
Bowl on January 24th. Also Competing in their first live
competition was the 6th grade team who had a strong showing.
The 7th and 8th grade team also competed on March third
at the ESU quiz bowl in Kearney. The team finish in the top ten out of 36
teams entered in the contest.

Sing Around Nebraska students: We will be taking our picture for the
Custer County Chief on Tuesday, March 9th at 3:45 p.m. Please
meet after school in the vocal music room. Remember to wear your Sing
Around Nebraska t-shirts. Thanks.
If you would like to
order a yearbook with your name engraved on the cover, you must do so by March
30. The cost is $42. A non-engraved yearbook is $40 and must be
ordered by the last day of school. You can pick up an order form in the
MS Office. See Mrs. Phillips before or after school with your money.
8th graders: HS
Cheerleading tryouts March 18th in the HS Gym. Practice will be
March 15th & 16th & 17th in the HS Gym
from 6pm-8pm. Sign up in the MS Office or HS Office.
6th & 7th
Graders: If you are interested in joining the Broken Bow Fit Kids this
summer the forms are in the office or Mr. Meyers room.
Lunch Menu for Today: Home-style Quesadilla, BBQ Rib Sandwich,
Whole Grain Rice, Rice Krispie Treat.

6th Grade: Nicole Bickford~ Nicole is very organized and gets her assignments finished on time! She has a great work ethic and a positive attitude that will help her to be a success anywhere. Mrs. Pierce
7th Grade: Shannon Myers ~ works hard and always has a positive outlook!!! Mrs. Haines
8th Grade: Dalton Schnase ~as he has worked hard to show responsibility for his behavior in my class and has improved greatly with this goal. He has also improved in his respect for the classroom expectations and his willingness to follow directions from me and do exactly what has been asked.
