The Hispanic Scholarship Fund* – the nation’s largest provider of college financial aid for Latino students
Eligibility: Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent), be a U.S. citizen OR legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551, be pursuing or plan to pursue your first undergraduate or graduate degree, must apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), plan to enroll full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student in a degree seeking program at a U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam in the upcoming academic year.  Award: Varies depending on scholarship Deadline: Depends on the scholarship, they are available September 1. United States Senate Youth Program*
Eligibility:
High school juniors or seniors are eligible to apply, provided they are currently serving in an elected or selected capacity in student government, a civic, or an educational organization. Additionally, students must be permanent residents.  Must receive nomination from counselor. Award: Delegates will participate in a week of intensive study of the federal government as guests of the U.S. Senate from March 6-13, 2010, in Washington D.C. Horatio Alger Scholarship Program*

The Constance K. Rife Girls Golf Scholarship*

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must be female, a senior in high school, currently enrolled in high school, and an active member of a Nebraska School Activities Association recognized high school golf team.
All qualified applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) at the time the application is submitted, and must be qualified for admission to a school, college, or university for full-time academic or technical courses. Elks National Foundation Legacy Award*
Eligibility: Any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2007, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2007, is eligible to apply.
