The Early Childhood Center-based Classroom is a curriculum based special education preschool that serves children ages 3 to 5 who have special needs.

The Peer Model Program allows preschoolers without disabilities the opportunity to participate in the early childhood class and to learn through the experiences in the classroom.

By participating in classroom activities, the peer model serves as a role model to the other students by demonstrating appropriate play, communication skills, and social skills.

SESC’s New Discoveries Preschool meets Monday through Thursday.  The morning sessions are for the 3 year olds and afternoon sessions are for the 4 year olds.

Preschool tuition is free.  Breakfast and lunch program is provided through the Broken Bow Schools program.  The breakfast and lunch prices are based on a sliding fee scale.

New Discoveries Preschool uses the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment and Creative Curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten  and a lifetime of learning.
