Boys
and Girls Varsity ONLY games will be on Thursday, Feb. 9th
Girls
Varsity game will begin at 5:00 pm MTN
followed
by the Boys Varsity game

Post Prom Committees Middle School Dance
scheduled
for February 3rd will NOT be held

Parent’s Night for the Cheerleaders and Dance
Team will be on February 10th before the warm-up of the Girls
Varsity game.
The Cheerleaders will perform at halftime of
the Boys Varsity game, and the Dance Team will perform following the Boys
Varsity game.
Variety Show to be held on March 5th
at 7:00pm in the Middle School Auditorium……watch for more information.
The Broken Bow School Board
has selected the next superintendent of schools.
Mark Sievering
accepted the position following
a second round of interviews in the district
this week.
The contract with Sievering will be finalized next week.
Sievering has been the superintendent at Conestoga Public
Schools
in
southeast Nebraska since 2003.
He has also been a superintendent at Franklin Public
Schools
and was the superintendent/principal
at Arthur County High School in Arthur.
Sievering will begin his position with Broken Bow Schools
July 1, 2012.

BROKEN BOW ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
The Broken
Bow Athletic Booster Club and the Broken Bow Athletic Department will be
inducting ALL State Championship/ Un-Defeated Athletic Teams into the Broken
Bow Athletic Hall Of Fame on Friday, February 10th, 2012 during the
Broken Bow vs. Cozad Girls/Boys Basketball Games. All State Championship/ Undefeated Teams will
be inducted as a group 1 by 1 following the Varsity Girls Game and before the
Varsity Boys warm-up begins. This will take place at approximately 6:45
PM. We would like to have all of the members from the teams listed
below to meet in the HS Media Center at 6:30 PM on the 10th to
organize for the HOF ceremony. We encourage all team members to attend
and be honored on this evening.

We will also be inducting two
individuals into the Broken Bow Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime of the

Terry Lewis and Nikki Scott will be
honored and inducted into the 2012 Hall Of Fame.
Following the Girls and Boys games
the Broken Bow Athletic Booster Club will host a reception in the cafeteria for
anyone wishing to attend.
